Mozart for Two Guitars

Yesterday I did a quick YouTube video with my good friend (and brilliant classical guitarist) Nick Lanzer. A while back I had arranged seven minuets written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (KV 65a) but I never got around to recording them until now. These pieces were originally scored for two violins, cello, and bass but they actually work out quite nicely for two guitars. I am planning on self-publishing my arrangements of these minuets at some point. I feel that these minuets would make a welcome addition to any classical guitar duet’s repertoire, so I hope to have the sheet music for them up on my site soon. In the meantime please enjoy this video of the first of Mozart’s “Sieben Menuette” (Seven Minuets). I will be recording the other six soon!
