Awesome.

Awesome. That’s the only word I can find to describe the fact that I received this mention on Twitter yesterday:

Yes, that’s right. It’s Amanda Palmer, lead singer and pianist of the Dresden Dolls, tweeting me regarding my classical guitar arrangement of “Coin Operated Boy” (click here for my blog entry on that arrangement). It’s always amazing when one of my arrangements is recognized by the original artist. These videos are essentially homages to the musicians that have influenced me over the years; to have my work receive recognition in return fills me with a joy that I can’t possibly describe. To put it simply, it’s awesome.
