An Irish Wedding

St. Patrick’s day is coming up and it’s an odd coincidence that I was recently asked to arrange “The Irish Wedding Song” for a wedding I am playing in September. I had never heard this song before so I checked out several versions on YouTube. I have now heard “The Irish Wedding Song” sung with various instruments accompanying, as a solo on bagpipes, and on solo piano. No solo guitar versions! I of course had to rectify this, so here it is, the first YouTube solo guitar arrangement of “The Irish Wedding Song.” I hope you like it!

Uh-oh! You can always hire a musician. Say, me, perhaps. OR, if I am geographically inconvenient, I suppose you could google one of those “YouTube to mp3″ converters. Those sites are laden with pop-ups, adware, and spyware, and the audio quality will be YouTube crappy, but at least it’s something. Unfortunately I don’t have an mp3 at this time but I’m looking to get one out soon!
